Howdy everyone and welcome to Low Standards, this is the first in a series of admin updates relating to the functioning of the website and our other subsidiaries such as facebook groups and twitter accounts.
I’ve finally settled on a new template as you’ll no doubt have noticed and I’m still in the process of tweaking elements such as rollovers and adding pages for various content the two of us will elaborate on when appropriate.
The MP3 player is located in the podcast posts so you don’t have to navigate the itunes store to listen to Back-Talk. You may have noticed that the old stream is still up which is leading to some confusion. I’ve requested the removal of the old feed but with an understandable delay due to the volume of material, for now you have option of doing all your Back-Talk freebasing right here.
Posts now have submission buttons to digg, facebook, stumbleupon, technocrati and delicious, giving you the option to peddle our respective asses all across the internet. A flickr stream has also been set up so you may enjoy the vistas of Huddersfield and Belfast, the craggy curiosity that is my face and contoured shapeliness of Mr Pratt.
Ian has provided a wonderful write-up of our endeavours in the about section and is currently undertaking the task of composing descriptions of the current batch of podcasts I’m vetting for audial parasites, washing machine cycles, interruptions of a motherly nature but you’ll notice that the vetting process can only catch so many of these unfortunate artifacts.
It’s quite possible I’ve waffled on again. I’m not all that surprised at my penchant for the longwinded but I am at the amount of support from all quarters for all things Low Standards For High Fives.
